TOBIAS TRUVILLION
Actor/Producer

TOBIAS TRUVILLION (Hitch, Brooklyn’s Finest, The Tested)  is an award-winning actor and model from Queens, New York. Named a 2012 “Top 20 Eye Candy” selection by Essence Magazine, Tobias has been the face of high profile print and commercial campaigns, including Got Milk?, Enyce Clothing, Jordan 23 and Heineken’s Double Nod.  In 2001, Tobias took home the prestigious AUDELCO Award and in 2006, he joined the cast of ABC’s hit soap opera One Life to Live in the role of “Vincent,” a debonair, street savvy, ladies’ man. His performances earned him a 2008 NAACP Image Award nomination for “Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series.” Recent guest-starring roles: Blue Bloods, Being Mary Jane. SHELDON WOODLEY (Ruined, A Raisin in the Sun) is a native of the Bronx, NY by way of Vincentian (St. Vincent & the Grenadines) decent. He was nominated for a Henry award for the role of Fortune in Denver Center Theater's production of RUINED. He has been invited to Bank Street College on numerous occasions as a guest teaching artist. Sheldon's love of theater and film fueled his passion for photography. As an actor, he has guest-starred on Robert De Niro's NY 22, Nurse Jackie, Law & Order: Prime, Law & Order: SVU, Rescue Me and Canterbury's Law. Latin sensation Vanessa Nova was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  She spent part of her childhood in the Caribbean and moved to the United States with her family when she was 6 years old. Vanessa grew up in the Bronx, NY and in school, she discovered her passion for the arts by performing in talent shows that focused on dance and drama. She was  cast in several dramatic productions at her family's church.  Vanessa has trained with the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and the Piel Canela Dance Company in NYC, leading her to performances in New York. Two years ago, Vanessa began to pursue her acting career seriously.  In that short time Vanessa  has already scored appearances in films and music videos, including Mary J. Blige's "Family affair" and the FOX Searchlight Motion Picture “Notorious”.  In addition to her passion for acting and entertaining, Vanessa strives to be a positive influence in her community.  When not working, Vanessa devotes her time to charity events and helping the sick and homeless.  She works tirelessly to be a positive role model to women in her environment who share common goals and dreams of a brighter tomorrow.  Vanessa considers this her most significant accomplishment and it continues to be her strongest motivation to excel.  Ms. Nova recently signed with Nene Musik Talent Agency, LLC, which represents the likes of Dennis Rodman, Cascada, Mia Martina, Fulanito and Vic Latino to name a few.  Her sensuality, elegance and radiant sex appeal have delighted viewers and opened doors to new horizons for her career.

ANTHONY BARFIELD  - COMPOSER

ANTHONY BARFIELD is a Composer, Teacher and Audio Engineer in New York City. Known for his lyrical writing style, his compositions have been performed throughout the U.S. and Europe.  Anthony has received commissions from groups such as The University of Kentucky Wind Ensemble and Joseph Alessi of the New York Philharmonic.  He made his Carnegie Hall debut at the 2012 New York Wind Band Festival where his work "Here We Rest" was performed.  In demand as a composer in residence, Mr. Barfield has worked with groups such as The University of Scranton Singers, Manhattan School of Music Brass Ensemble and The Baldwin Wind Symphony. He is currently releasing his first composition album in the fall of 2013 titled "The Works Of Anthony Barfield" with The University of Alabama Wind Ensemble. As a former trombonist, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Dizzy's Coca Cola Club, Alice Tully Hall, and the Kennedy Center. Anthony has served as a Teaching Artist for Grammy-award-winning producer Phil Ramone's Children's Orchestra and with a member of the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra in Philadelphia.  He has performed with The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Wycliffe Gordon and Friends, Alabama Symphony, Mobile Symphony, and Park Avenue Chamber Symphony. Anthony studied composition with C.P. First, Avner Dorman, Thomas Cabaniss, and Nils Vigeland. He holds degrees in trombone performance from the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music.
